I slept over at his place because he had said that our day would begin earlier than usual, around 10.00 am. While eating our usual bun bo hue I asked D the following questions: What do you want me to wear? Should I wear my glasses or my contacts? Are we going to be doing any crazy activity that would require me to pull my hair back? I thought that the questions were pretty basic and he could've just said yes or no to all of them but instead he said: "I'm not trying to ruin anything but .. we're going to Galaxyland!!!" The corners of his smile reached from ear to ear. I kid you not. Me? I kinda stared at him for a bit in my own circle of disbelief. It's not that I wasn't excited ..
I just never got into the mode of Galaxyland when I was a kid. It was exciting to go past it but I never ever really got into it. I went to Rock-n-Ride once but JESUS that was an absolute disaster!! There were TOO many kids, TOO much drama, and I'm very very sorry for saying this, but TOO many Aboriginals. There was just too much trouble making .. I went a few times as a kid but was never head over heels for the place. The look on my face must've gave away the nonchalant thought that passed through my mind, because he immediately said "No? Well .. what do you want to do..?" I felt horrible because I felt like I broke his favorite video game or something .. but the man planned it and I went with it!!
The day actually st
arted early. Had to drop Titus off with Thao (and a huge thanks to her family for watching him the whooole day!!) and he actually said "Bye bye mommy~" Which .. almost crushed my heart ....
We got to WEM at about 11.00 and I, the stupid head, wore only a tshirt. Well it was damn cold!! I walked past stitches and found a SALE!! I bought two sweaters (buy 1 get 2nd half off) and a pair of sweatpants for ten bucks!! I assure you, I absolutely LOVE the sweaters!! My first sweaters that have the thumb hole in them !

McDonald's was our breakfast of choice. I know .. it's not healthy .. but heck I am LOVING the Filet O Fish with mayo instead of tartar sauce!! Try it? Please?? Its om nom nom nom~
We began first with some simple things. It was that stupid boat that kept going up .. and down .. up and down .. D called it the ride that gave you orgasms!! And to tell you the truth .. I think it feels similar but no not quite hahaha.

Shaun was complaining how it felt like all his guts and everything were being pushed up into his chest cavity .. and I scolded him. THE MAN HAS NO IDEA HOW THAT FEELS LIKE WHATSOEVER!! NONE AT ALL!!! I've been through a pregnancy and EVERYTHING gets pushed in your rib cage and its like OH SWEET JESUS! of course it's gradual and not all at once .. but heck after you give birth adn everything's trying to go back to normal size .. you feel like .. you feel like aliens took out your insides and your body is trying to reproduce it back and fluids are coming out that you never knew exsisted and you don't know when you're hungry or full and you forget to pee .. and .. ugh .. your boobs get so engorged and full of milk that they leak at the slightest movement. It's like someone decided to practice boxing and used your boobs for targets .. and the bruising .. that's what it pretty much feels like to lactate. Oh and don't forget the needle stings. . aywope#$^@Q^WY
Bu
I always loved the swings .. or at least the look of them. So I was pretty excited that they chose to go on it. ^_^ Now .. I didn't realize that it could get you motion sick .. I felt pukish after the ride ... And it felt like it lasted FOREVER.
My boyfriend has no fear either. He was gettign kicked by his other friend and he was just .. yeah ..
Now of all the times I've been in Galaxy Land .. I've never noticed this Haunted House or Fun House spot. It was $6 per person .. rip off .. but really w/e hhahahah I just loved the fact that D was willing to lead us!!! Most of the props were really bad and old. Like this first picture here, D was all "WHAT POP UP AT ME!! JUMP UP AT ME!! SCARE ME!!! I didn't think so." And he walked past it a little and it made a hydraulic hiss noise, and jumped up at him. D made a little yell lol ^_^
Oh the glories of having a camera on hand at all times now ..
Am I ever glad that I started to do it too ^_^
There's this newer roller coaster like ride where you sit in a teacup reminiscent item and it runs on yellow tracks!! And it spins round and around while you go up and down across Galaxy Land. It barely even started and gave me a whiplash and knocked the back of my head good against the chair!! As fun as that damn thing looks .. ITS PAINFUL!!! Every time it turned I kept going "Ow ow ow!!"
And of course afterward we came across this stupid game .. the following video is quite self explanatory.
There was the mind bender roller coaster .. yeah it was fun but I guess I'm too little for it. I was knocked around in my seat and my head against the side of the rests. I almost lost an earring too!! They're very secure hoops but one opened from force of impact!! No pictures .. quite .. obvious why .. Oh D has one from the auto camera!! But it's in his email and I have no access to that ..
And here's the Space Shot!!
There were a couple rides after that I was too occupied to take pictures of .. One was this glow in the dark shooting game for kids. By the by, I kicked everyone's butt!! I had a score of 1500, D had 1260 and I can't remember the rest .. BUAHAHA!
And there was the 3-d Ride! It was of a Arctic Expedition or something ... I felt sick ..... Sitting in a theatre in a chair that rocked around while watching some 3-D thing .. yeah I had to look away several times =(
We walked about WEM afterwards, buying myself a new iPhone cable (My own was fraying at spots it probably shouldn't). D thought it'd be super smart and cool of him to blend into the people that were on display~
Many people don't know about this, but there is a Sealife Cavern. It's pretty much a full aquarium!! I GOT TO TOUCH LIVE MANTA RAY!! I kid you not when I found it so fun! They don't have teeth so it's like they have a gigantic vacuum for a mouth to dig around in the sand for food. One kept sucking on my hand and it felt so weird! Well .. actually if you ever take a vacuum opening and just put it on your palm, its pretty much like that. Just not so forceful and there's no "Fweeeeeeeeeeeeee" noise hahahaha I .. honestly didn't want to leave .. not with the penguins and the sea turtle. OMG the sea turtle!! There was two there but this one kept swimming baack and forth against the water pump. It probably loved the bubbles just bubbling against its face. It was kind of cute!
Afterwards we dropped by PJ's Pets for a little bit and OH EM GEE!! They were selling Pekingese!! Same type as my dog! It's SUPER rare for a public store to sell them, just cuz they're usually so damn expensive. And they were .. they cost $1, 099.00!! Ooooh I wanted to pet them .. How bad I wanted to .. but didn't ..
We went to Wild West and I shot a gun for the first time!! Honestly, I must agree with Ice Princess, I can see why it's so addicting. And why people go there all the time ..
The guy supervising me was literally standing next to me so I had a hard time aiming and .. he taught me how to hold it properly but he didn't teach me how to aim so I had to guess most of the time. That and I was uncomfortable with how close he was to me hahaha Oh Mr. Pilipino, you arr berry odd.
And then it was dinner time! The guys took us to the Cactus Club and .. though we waited close to a half hour, the food was delish~ D didn't enjoy his steak too much but my slow braised beef short ribs were sooo good!! And that odd little mayo that went with it .. ON NOM NOM NOM NOM!!
The night finished with a trip to Shogun Japanese Restaurant!! It was D's head chef's birthday and well .. we got there first. The owner's wife recognized me and kept drilling me with questions, like if I worked with D or if I went to church. The only thing that I could think of was my ex boyfriend who was also Japanese. I asked if she knew the lady and she was all "Ah sou! Yes I remember!" And her little sons that I was teasing, I remembered them as Samuel and the older one Titus. Yes you guys, apparently the name is popular with Christians and Catholics haha. But OH MY GOD! That kid had so much hair!! kyaaah~ It made my night to be recognized by such a friendly lady. I'd only seen her ONCE and that was during Christmas of 2008. Amazing isn't it!?
And here are some of their coworkers. Yes. They think they're cool cuz they have matching Sherlock Holmes' t-shirts .. yes ..
That was my night everyone .. it really was .. there's missing details but my fingers are dying right now hahahah I hope you enjoyed this!!!
